The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭13‬ CEB)

This verse, from the end of one of Paul’s letters to the church in Corinth is often used near the beginning of a traditioanl liturgical style worship service.  Paul uses it as a parting blessing.  Either way, as a welcome greeting or a blessed goodbye, it seems fitting.  It’s a fancy way of saying,  “God be with you.”

And that’s my wish, my blessing for you today.  May god be with you…God’s grace, God’s love, and God’s presence.

Prayer: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.  Amen.
