Christmas

I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas!  I hope that all is well for you and your family.  At Christmas time, we can easily overfill our schedules and try to do too much.  I hope you are able to keep Jesus and God’s love at the center of your Christmas activities and celebrations.
As a child, one of my favorite memories of Christmas was worshiping with my family on Christmas Eve.  The glow of the candles, the Christmas carols, the story of that sacred night when Jesus was born being read.  Now that I’m a husband and a dad, it’s a special day I celebrate with my wife and children.
Tonight as we gather for worship at Our Saviour we will light candles, and we will sing those songs that bring in the Christmas spirit and tell of God’s love for us in the birth of The Son.  If you are anywhere near Bristol, Johnson City, or Kingsport, we’d love to have you join us for The Heart of Christmas family service at 4 p.m.  We also have services at 6 p.m, and at 10:30 p.m.  I hope one of those times will work for you.  It’s going to be a special night, and I’d love to have you join us.  Leave a comment that your coming, and I’ll save you a seat.
God’s Peace, Hope, and Love,
